Why the American education system is a disaster: Teachers Union thugs in Wisconsin take students to protests

seiu-brownshirts-obamaForget learning about math and science! Wisconsin students were taken on a field trip today to the state capitol. Not to learn about the history of the government or anything, but rather to act as pawns for the Wisconsin teacher’s union protesting Scott Walker’s proposed budget cuts. Check out the brilliant young minds that were brought to the capitol:



I don’t know, isn’t this like illegal or something? Shouldn’t students be actually in the class LEARNING or something? I guess when it comes to progressive controlled education system, it really doesn’t matter since they’ve screwed up our schools beyond repair.

Oh, and BTW, these same progressive teachers were comparing Scott Walker to Hosni Mubarak. Doesn’t your heart just go out to the “poor” teachers?

    Disgusting for the teachers to involve the students and to not work – if I did that I would have lost my job. I know people who have not had a raise for 5 years and they were asked to contribute more to their health insurance. All protesters should be fired. I have heard that there are over 500 would be teachers for every teaching job opening in the state of Wisconsin.

    There is a procedure that I believe was missed in this ‘field trip’ the other day. Parents are supposed to be informed ahead of time when teachers take their kids from school grounds. They are supposed to be informed by a note home and it is required that a Parent’s signature be given in agreement to the plans.
    I’m not hearing that this was an agreed-upon field trip. If I were a parent of one of these children, I’d file kidnapping charges against the teacher.

    I am all for starting fresh with privately contracted teachers for the next school year. They are less expensive, accountable and have proven to do a better job than their union counterparts.
