Republicans fail again – half vote with Democrats against cutting $22 billion

rino-republicansAh yes. The true Republicans are morphing back into their normal selves. While there were some good developments today defunding Planned Parenthood, ObamaCARE, and some of the crap at the EPA, Republicans caved (again) on a $22 billion cut. So called “conservatives” like Eric Cantor (R-Va.) and Kevin McCarthy (R-Ca) voted against the cuts. So did Jeb Hensarling of Texas and so called tea party candidate Kristi Noem of South Dakota. Cry baby John Boehner didn’t bother voting.

Most of these Republicans are in safe districts. Kristi Noem not be. (I don’t know enough about South Dakota to judge.) If the district is considered a “swing district” in 2012, this vote today will come back to bite her in the a*s.
