Ron Paul wins CPAC 2011 straw poll – Mitt Romney comes in second
Ron Paul for the second straight year, was propped up by his Paulinistas and won the CPAC 2011 straw poll. He received 30 percent of the vote. While I don’t agree with Ron Paul and some issues, he is at least conservative in his fiscal views. Mitt Romney is another story. Mitt Romney came in second, receiving 23 percent of the vote. I don’t know how any “conservative” could in good conscious vote for Mitt Romney, but I guess that’s why I’m not there.

Mullahs ban opposition rally in Iran
Hmm. Are the Mullahs and Ayatollah getting a little concerned? Based on the previous pathetic Obama reaction to the rising of citizens in Iran during 2009, I don’t think they’d have much to worry about. Nevertheless the reformist opposition in Iran was denied “permission” to rally in support of the uprising that toppled Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak. According to Yahoo/Reuters:

Either they will be a truely democratic country will free and fair elections and more liberties, or it will be Iran 2.0 and part of the Islamic caliphate. Based on the latest Pew poll of Egyptians from December of 2010, here are some of their opinions.
54% of Egyptians polled favor gender segregation in the workplace. This is second to only Pakistanis who were polled in the various Muslim countries. 82% of Egyptians polled favor stoning people who commit adultery. This is tied for the highest percentage among the countries polled with Pakistan. 77% of Egyptians favor whippings or the cutting off of hands of putting who commit theft, second only to Pakistan. Lastly, 84% of Egyptians polled favor the death penalty to those who leave to “Muslim” religion. This is second only to Jordan.
Egyptians in New York chant – Jordan is next and Israel is out!
Yea, so keep on telling me how the ouster of Hosni Mubarak is going to bring in a new era of Democracy and peace! In Astoria, New York they have a section called “Little Egypt.” While some of the people were brought to tears at the news of Mubarak’s resignation, others showed their true colors chanting “Jordan is next, Israel is out!” WABC in New York actually posted the video (surprisingly), and I wouldn’t be surprised if they removed it after the outrage it generates.

Sarah Palin hires Michael Glassner to be chief of staff
Hmm.. Another bone being thrown to the lame stream media, or something else? Sarah Palin has hired Republican strategist Michael Glassner to serve as Chief Of Staff for her political action committee, Sarah PAC, according to CNN. Problem with Glassner is that he’s a former Bob Dole AND John McCain adviser, which certainly doesn’t impress me.
Obama’s right! Egypt will never be the same
Again, the coward Obama refused to take any questions from the press, and yet again he had to put himself out in the media to pat himself on the back for what happened in Egypt. But one statement Obama made was 100% right. The problem, Obama and his minions don’t understand why. Obama said Egypt will never be the same and he’s completely right. The problem is, what is the “change” Egypt will see? Some already know what’s ahead, others bury their heads in the sand and don’t. Not only does idiot and Director of National Intelligence James Clapper claim that the Muslim Brotherhood is a “largely secular” organization, the director of the CIA, Leon Panetta relies on getting his information from media reports! Earlier today CIA Director Leon Panetta testified in front of Congress claiming that there was a “strong likelihood” that Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak would step down by the end of the day. As we found out, that didn’t happen and Mubarak is still in power.

On Wednesday, Mitchell had Ayaan Hirsi Ali on the show. Mitchell claimed that Ali was a former member of the Muslim Brotherhood, but Ali is a female. That’s kind of strange. Regardless, Ali told Mitchell of the Muslim Brotherhood’s ultimate goal of Sharia law and an Islamic state, much to the “denial” of Mitchell.

Figures. Ron Paul nuts have to try and ruin CPAC 2011. While i consider myself socially libertarian, I am not one of those crazy Ron Paul supporters. There are a lot of things I agree with Ron Paul on, but there are too many things I don’t agree with him such as his anti-Israel policies where i could never support this guy. A lot of Ron Paul’s fans are also complete nuts (like the far left loons who love Obama.) CBO confirms – ObamaCARE will cost US economy 800,000 jobs
Progressive liberal Democrats on the Hill, in the White House and in the media love to point to the CBO claiming that Obama would somehow reduce the deficit “even though the numbers didn’t include certain parts of the bill like the doc fix.” I wonder how these same left wing nuts will spin CBO Director Doug Elmendorf’s testifying today before the House Budget Committee and confirming that ObamaCARE will cost America an estimated 800,000.
