Shocker! Hosni Mubarak not leaving until September
All morning, the newscasters were saying Hosni Murbarak was going to make a bombshell announcement that he was leaving office like the Egyptian people seemed to want. He was scheduled to speak at certain times, and it kept getting delayed and delayed. Finally, at about 1pm PST, Mubarak gave his speech and announced he is still NOT leaving office until the September elections.
Needless to say the people in Egypt are furious over this. We will monitor the situtation over the coming hours, but the worst may be yet to come.

What a dumb ass. Yet another example of the Obama regime’s detachment from reality. While being questioned about the Muslim Brotherhood’s possible role in a new Egyptian government, the idiot James Clapper told Republican ep. Sue Myrick not to worry about the Brotherhood. Instead, according to Clapper The Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt is not extreme and that the Muslim Brotherhood movement is “largely secular.” This is the same idiot James Clapper that had no clue back in December about the London terrorist attacks. The only thing about Jon Kyl announcing his “retirement” today is why couldn’t it have been John McCain instead? Jon Kyl is of course a RINO, but not as bad as McCain. The rumors going around now including the possibility of Arizona Congressman Jeff Flake running to fill his seat. This would be awesome! There are also rumors that Marxist Democrats may try and use Gabby Giffords’ tragedy to have her make a run at the Senate seat. I certainly wouldn’t put it past them, though who knows if Giffords will ever be in any condition to run for Senate.

But hey, as the media hacks will tell you, Obama’s a cool guy. ABC’s hard hitting journalism even revealed a hard hitting story from his wife the mooch that Obama doesn’t even dye his hair. But who cares about things like the deficit and handling of economy which have hit new record lows of approval according to the most recent Gallup poll. According to the poll, Obama’s approval rating for handling the federal budget deficit plunged to a record low (since tracking) 27% of Americans. During the November shellacking, his approval rating on this issue sat at 32%. Right now, 68% of those polled disapprove of Obama. On the issue of the economy, only 37% approve of Obama, while 60% disapprove.

In a UK Times exclusive, it has been revealed that a phone call between Obama and King Abdullah occured on January 29th. Obama was “warned” not to humiliate Mubarak. King Abdullah also threatened that Saudi Arabia would fund Egypt (at about $1.5 billion per year) if the U.S. withdrew their aide.

Here we go again with the idiot Republicans that caused them to lose the House and Senate in 2006. Christopher Lee who was in his first term in the House and elected in November to represent New York’s 26th congressional district has resigned after reports of a “shirtless” photo of himself was sent out to Craigslist to woman. Oh btw, Lee is married. Yet again, the wonderful “Republican family values” are on full display. Gawker posted the photo that Lee “allegedly” sent out on Craigslist. Hit the road Jack! Virginia Marxist Democrat Senator Jim Webb will not seek reelection
Another day, another Marxist Democrat Senator who realizes he has no chance of winning in 2012 jumps ship. Virginia Marxist Democrat Senator Jim Webb who is serving his first term as Senator has decided not to run for re-election in 2012. Jim Webb wasn’t really “old” by Senate or House standards. He’s only 65 years old. That’s like a teenage compared to the old farts like John McCain, Frank Lautenberg, Daniel Inouye and Daniel Akaka. Yet suddenly Webb wants to return to the “private sector” that he has helped destroyed. Here’s Webb’s statement from The Hill:
“after much thought and consideration I have decided to return to the private sector, where I have spent most of my professional life, and will not seek re-election in 2012.”
George Allen, now the likely winner of the seat if he survives the primary also issued a statement:

The bad news? Flaming RINO Lindsey Graham isn’t up for re-election until 2014. The good news? The people of South Carolina have finally caught on the the Democrat in Republican’s clothings, and Graham isn’t likely to change his stripes. According to the latest PPP poll, 52% of Republicans polled say that they’d pick a more conservative challenger in the 2014 GOP primary, compared to only 37% who say they’d support Graham. Even Joe Wilson of “YOU LIE!” fame would be Graham if he decided to challenge the RINO.

Gabrielle Giffords continues to make miraculous progress in her rehabilitation from a gun shot to the head. According to a story at MSNBC, Giffords’ chief of staff Pia Carusone confirmed that Giffords made the verbal request on Monday for more toast when hospital workers at TIRR Memorial Hermann brought her a meal. Giffords is also describe as speaking “more and more” which is great news.

Continuing Resolution Will De-fund ObamaCare
Good! Sounds great, but I’ll believe it when I see it. The Republicans in the House have already wimped out on one campaign promise, cutting $100 billion from the defiect each year, and cutting only $32 billion. So forgive me if i’m skeptical. However, House Majority Leader Eric Cantor told CNSNews.com today that “one way or the other” the upcoming continuing resolution necessary to keep the government funded through fiscal 2011 will deny funding to the ObamaCare law.
