NPR hack Scott Simon: This needs to be said after latest tape: conduct of NPR execs is disgusting.They dishonor a name built by great journalists

nprsuxWell, Scott Simon has one thing right at least. The tapes released exposing NPR for what they truly are are disgusting. However, Simon must be kiding himself when he says that the tapes “dishonor” a name built by great journalists.

Great journalist?

You mean like Daisy Hernandez claiming Brown relief that Jared Loughner was a “Gringo?”
Mara Liasson claiming that Nancy Pelosi is kinda like Winston Churchill or something?

You mean like NPR’s Michel Martin linking Timothy McVeigh to Catholicism?
You mean like the “how to speak teabag” video posted by an NPR “journalist?”
And of course there’s always Nina Totenberg’s various “wonderful” articles and statements such as wishing Jesse Helms and his grandchildren would “get AIDS from a transfusion.”

Yea Scotty boy. That’s one helluva name built by “journalists” there.

    Total BS. Everyone who’s seen the LONG video knows for fact that O”keefe and buddies SEVERELY edited it, taking innocuous statements from earlier in the conversation, cutting his praising remarks about Repubs, and saying 6 TIMES that news stories on NPR cannot be paid for. One should expect no LESS from the likes of these clowns….and this blogger…who/whatever it is. The Righties in this country seem to be STOOPING lower and lower.

    scott simon is “the Bloody Quaker” and the poster-boy for “liberal hawks”. He can be depended upon to note the speck in another country’s eye but can’t see the log in America’s eye (torture, aggressive war)
