Joe Biden praises the union thugs – those against unions are ‘BARBARIANS FROM THE GATE’

In 1978 during Jimmy Carter’s first term, (Obama is his second) with a heavily Democrat congress, they ended collective bargaining rights for federal workers. You haven’t heard a word out of these hypocritical union thugs, or far left media hacks about this. Biden was also a Senator back in 1978. Yet it was the moron Biden to go on and on about how great collective bargaining is for the union thugs, and how they have given back so much to the country. Biden even at one point called those opposed to the union thugs the ‘BARBARIANS FROM THE GATE.’ So if you opposed funding union thugs salaries, pensions, and health care benefits without them even contributing a dime of their own money to their benefit, you are a barbarian according to Biden.

“You guys built the middle class,“ Biden said during the ”virtual town hall” conversation hosted by the AFL-CIO. “I would just emphasize what Hilda [Solis] said and say it slightly different: We don’t see the value of collective bargaining, we see the absolute positive necessity of collective bargaining.

“Let’s get something straight,” he continued. “The only people who have the capacity — organizational capacity and muscle — to keep, as they say, the barbarians from the gate, is organized labor. And make no mistake about it, the guys on the other team get it. They know if they cripple labor, the gate is open, man. The gate is wide open. And we know that too.”
