Indiana fleebagger Dave Cheatham equates fleebagging to service in Afghanistan

Let me see if I understand Indiana fleebagger Dave Cheatham correctly. In his warped mind, avoding voting on issues that the people of Indiana hired you to do (regardless if you approve or not) is somehow compareable to the soliders service in Afghanistan? How low can these union suckups go? Democrat Dave Cheatham represents the 69th District in the Indiana General Assemby and is of course a Democrat. Cheatham equated his walkout aka fleebagging from the Indiana General Assembly to avoid voting on the union bill to that of a serviceman leaving the country for service in Afghanistan. Ironicly, this piece of garbage made these remarks at a townhall meeting in Madison, Indiana on March 26. The applause was from union teachers.

CHEATHAM: The thing that sticks in my mind, I guess, more than anything else — and this is something that has happened. My wife teaches first grade. This past week, one of the kids in her class, a little first grader’s dad is getting sent to Afghanistan. And he was really sad. And she said, ‘Eell, you know, your dad is doing something really good. He’s going to a country where people there are trying to take away the freedoms of other people there, keep them from living a good life. So he’s leaving to do something good.’ And one of the little girls in class just on her own — and this has never been talked about in class, because my wife doesn’t do that — said, ‘It’s kind of like Mr. Cheatham, he left to make our schools better.’ And when I heard that, that gave me a reason.”

    It must have been a bitch for Cheat’em to dodge all those road side bombs, running away from his responsiblities as oppossed to the 1st graders Dad facing his and real road side bombs. Evidently Mr Cheat’em has never been to a cobat training session.
