Thanks Obama! Gas prices hit all time record highs for April
I’m sure this is probably Bush’s fault too. As of April 11th, 2011 gas prices average $3.79 a gallon around America. This is now a record high for the average price of gas per gallon ever for April. Even in 2008 when gas prices went sky high, it was lower in April than it is today. ABC posted this, but uses the title “commuters ditching cars.” Sounds like something Obama wanted a long doesn’t it? The highest price found was in Orlando, Florida. On gas station there is charging $5.59 PER GALLON!
“The tipping point probably has moved somewhat over time,” Williams said. “As gas prices rise, consumers get accustomed to it. As you start to get close to $3.50 and toward $4, that’s the point when people start to see there’s a cheaper way to get around.”
In California, gas prices are over $4 per gallon basically everywhere you go. If you happen to find one of those “discount” crappy gas stations, you might be able to find gas for $3.99 per gallon.
