The Obama Recession – By almost a 3 to 1 ratio people are worse off now than one year ago
Obama and his far left progressive policies are working absolutely perfectly. According to a new poll by The Hill (which is hardly a right wing conspiracy paper), forty-six percent of voters polled say they are worse off now, than they were just one year ago. Only a measly 16 percent of those polled claimed they are more affluent than a year ago. 36 percent of those from the same poll claim that their economic situation has remained basically the same since last May.
How about taxes? Surely those evil “rich” and everyone else should pay more taxes to help reduce the deficit right? If you listen to the cackling heads on the lame stream media TV stations, one might think that. But yet again, these polls proven completely the opposite.
Presented with a menu of choices to help curb the national debt and federal deficit, almost half of voters — 45 percent — support spending cuts alone, the poll indicates. By contrast, only 13 percent favor an even split between cutting spending and raising revenue through tax increases.
By a margin of two-to-one, respondents also said they would be unwilling to see any increase in their own tax rates even if this helped reduce the debt and deficits. Only 28 percent said they would be prepared to pay higher taxes, while 56 percent said they would not
Now if only the GOP could actually find a decent candidate for 2012. Obama would go down in flames just like peanut head Jimmy Carter in 1980.
