NBC only decides to suspend misogynist Ed Schultz for one week for Laura Ingraham slut remarks

ed-schultz-fatboyFigures. Weak ass NBC only suspended misogynist Ed Schultz for calling Laura Ingraham a right-wing slut and talk slut. Instead of firing this idiot like they should of, Schultz gets off with little more than a slap on the wrist. But remember, it’s “conservative” talk radio that always spews hate and inflames people right? NBC released this absolutely pathetic and tepid statement:

MSNBC management met with Ed Schultz this afternoon and accepted his offer to take one week of unpaid leave for the remarks he made yesterday on his radio program. Ed will address these remarks on his show tonight, and immediately following begin his leave. Remarks of this nature are unacceptable and will not be tolerated.

It’s been tolerated in the past with loons like Schultz, Olbermann, and Maddow on many occassions by this propaganda network. The fact that Schultz still has a job with NBC tells me they still tolerate “remarks of this nature.” Yet another fine represative for NBC. Brian Williams and the rest should be proud.
