Food stamps recipients have increased by whopping 11 percent over one year
Another Obama/progressive victory! A record number of 44.5 million Americans received SNAP (food stamps) benefits in March. According to ABC, this is an astounding increase of 11% in just ONE YEAR! This is also almost 61 percent higher than the same time four years ago when that evil Republican George W. Bush was president.
Nearly 21 million households are reliant on food stamps.
The cost of the food stamps program has increased rapidly since it was established by Congress in 1964.
It cost taxpayers more than $68 billion last year, double the amount in 2007.
