Bye! Newt Gingrich senior aides jump ship! For Rick Perry?
Notice I said aide(s) not aide. Gingrich’s aides ditched the sinking ship (or cruise ship in Greece) and now some are thinking this is because Rick Perry is likely to run for President. According to Hotair, Newt Gingrich press spokesman Rick Tyler has resigned, along with Gingrich’s campaign manager Rob Johnson. Hotair has a bunch of confirmations from left wing biased sources, including the AP, NBC’s slurper Chuck Todd and Politico. Rumors are swirling that these aides may be headed to Rick Perry’s (yet to be announced campaign.)
Gingrich still maintains he will continue to run. For what reason is anyone’s guess. To increase his speaking fees? Ho
