Abortion mill Planned Parenthood defunded in North Carolina – Democrat failure Governor Bev Perdue veto overridden
Another day, another epic failure for a Democrat in America. Democrat failure North Carolina Governor Bev Perdue vetoed a bill earlier to defund Planned Parenthood in the state. But Perdue’s failure was confirmed when the North Carolina House and Senate overrode Perdue’s veto as both houses of the state legislature have agreed to override the veto pro-abortion Gov. Bev Perdue’s budget veto. According to Life News, North Carolina becomes the third state the defund the abortion mill known as Planned Parenthood.
The state legislature approved a measure to remove federal funds from the pro-abortion organization in its state budget. In North Carolina, the abortion business receives $434,000 through state family planning programs aimed at reducing teen pregnancies and providing birth control. Although the money can only be used for non-abortion services, the same organization is also the nation’s largest abortion business — doing more than 330,000 annually and comprising more than one-quarter of all abortions in the United States annually.
