Fox News replaces Glenn Beck with “The Five” which includes Bob Beckel, Geraldo Rivera, etc.

beckelYawn! For weeks people wondered what would Fox News do with Glenn Beck’s vacated time slot at 5pm. People wondered if they would hire some “big name” to fill the time slot. Nope, no big name. Instead, Fox News is creating a program called “The Five” and will be a “The View” style ensemble program with a bunch of Fox News retreads. According to Media Bistro, the show will debut on Monday, July 11th. Next week will be nothing but Beck re-runs. The show will have the usual left wing Fox News retreads on it like Bob Beckel, Juan Williams, Geraldo Rivera.

There will be some conservatives, such as Greg Gutfeld, Judge Andrew Napolitano, Andrea Tantaros, Eric Bolling, and Monica Crowley. You’ll even get a Bush retread Dana Perino. The program will also feature added guests, including politicians, celebrities, sports figures and key newsmakers. Yawn. Have fun trying to reach 2 million+ viewers in this time slot from now on Fox News! Bob Beckel will do wonders for your ratings! What’s the matter Fox News? No room for Alan Colmes, Krystal Ball, Nancy Skinner or Ellis Henican?

    Yep! Nothing sez Big Ratings like the resident liberals on Fox… did they learn nothing from Air America? Its sad when conservatives try to get liberals to like them. They never will.

    Look for this show to go down in flames. 

    They should have a View type show with Coulter, Malkin, Crowley, Ingrham & Palin.

    They’d beat O’Reilly’s ratings handily.

    I’ll be watching FOX even less. The only shows worth watching now are Hannity, Greta and O’Reilly when Laura Ingraham is hosting. Their ratings will fall.

    Just what I figured………..which is why I’m ALMOST done with FOX News.  I still fast-forward thru Baier and the 3 hours of prime-time.  Every once in a while I’ll watch a segment…………especially if I’m in the middle of doing dishes.  I like “white noise” while doing that.

    The Five isn’t any where close to filling Glenn Beck’s shoes!  I gave it a chance, but truthfully, I turn Fox News off when The Five airs.  I cannot stand the bickering, arguing and yelling amongst themselves.  Can’t anyone get along in our Country?  I am extremely stressed over our country’s situation, I certainly do not need anymore stress in my life at this time. They stress me out.  P.S. I love O’Reilly,Greta, and Hannity!  Fox News will continue to be my news source.
