Twelve straight weeks initial jobless claims stay above 400,000 ….unexpectedly

obamas_fly_2Hope and change! Recovery Summer! Obamanomics. Whatever progressive left wing extremists want to call it, Obama is still an epic failure. For the twelveth straight week, the number of Americans filing for first-time unemployment benefits remained over 400,000. This week is actually an improvement over last week. A whopping 1,000 less people filed for unemployment benefits this week over last week. Now that’s recovery. Yet again, it was “unexpectedly” from CNN:

There were 428,000 initial jobless claims filed in the week ended June 25 — 1,000 fewer than the week before, the Labor Department said.
It marked the 12th straight week initial claims have stayed above the 400,000 mark — and was worse than the 420,000 claims economists surveyed by Briefing.com had expected.
