Weiner’s claim at the time according to CBS was that the bill would boost New York’s fashion industry. Back then, no one probably gave the bill much attention. Fast foward to today and Weinergate, and now this bill makes perfect sense! CBS titled the article:

Another summer vacation for Moochelle Michelle Obama – taking mommy Marian Robinson too
Last year Moochelle, err Michelle Obama decided to pop off to Spain for a little summer vacation, this summer she’s taking the kids and her mother to Africa. Uh oh! China divests 97 percent of its holdings in U.S. Treasury Bills
Looks like Hu Jintao wasn’t exactly impressed by Obama during that state dinner a few weeks back. With the economy slipping back towards a double dip recession (of course did we truly ever get out of the first recession?) And the lousy economic and employment numbers, China has seen the writing on the walls and according to CNSNEWS has divested itself of 97 percent of its holdings in U.S. Treasury Bills! China is decreasing its ownership of the short-term U.S. government securities from a peak of $210.4 billion in May 2009 to $5.69 billion in March 2011. Maybe the Chinese have a time machine or something because treasury bills are securities that mature in one year or less that are sold by the U.S. Treasury Department to fund the country’s debt. Obama better learn how to bow better and soon.

Obama’s handicap is anywhere from 16 to 24, with Boehner’s between 5 and 8.

Hopefully, he can take a longer vacation, and just go away completely already. Gingrich has imploded since announcing his candidacy for President in 2012. He started on NBC’s Meet the Press calling Paul Ryan’s budget plan “radical” and “right wing social engineering.” Then the word came out that Gingrich and (his current wife) had as much as $500,000 in debt to Tiffany’s. Gingrich’s spokesman said (from Politico):
“They had long scheduled time off early in the campaign,” said Gingrich spokesman Rick Tyler. “They spent a long time, really with no break, preparing for the campaign. This week was an opportunity to get away together, and they decided it was important to stick to that schedule. We’ll be back next week.”

Obama fail! Unemployment rate spikes to 9.1% – half of the new jobs created by “evil” McDonalds
It’s June, so it must be time for recovery summer 2.0! Remember last year how the Obama regime was bragging how the summer was going to create all these new jobs and the unemployment was going to drop like a rock? Eh, not so much. Even with the Obama regime’s commerce department fudging of the unemployment rate late last year when, reality has set back in. The Obama regime magically had the unemployment rate drop 0.8% in just two months late last year, despite anmeic job growth. November’s unemployment rate was 9.8% but somehow dropped to 9.4% in December. Then it magically dropped to 9.0 in January despite minimal job growth that doesn’t even keep up with monthly population growth. The unemployment hit it’s “low” in March at 8.8%, but as of today has spiked back to 9.1%
