Recovery Summer 2.0 – Weekly unemployment claims exceed 400,000 for 13th consecutive week

obama-twapThe media is trying to spin the 13th consecutive week of initial unemployment claims being 418,000. Since this is down a bit from the past couple of the weeks, the Obama media hacks like CNN are creaming their pants that this is some sort of sign that the economy is going to turn around. What these media hacks and organizations fail to mention is that this is the 13th straight that first time unemployment claims have exceeded 400,000, a horrible number and continued signs of a lousy economy.

The 4-week moving average of this statistic stands at 424,750. Truly a sign of a booming economy.
