After twelve terms, Ron Paul wouldn’t run for re-election in Congress

ron-paul-nutjobCiting a desire to focus his efforts on winning the presidency (yea right), Ron Paul wouldn’t be running for Congress in 2012. Regardless of how badly he loses the primaries he’s done in 2012. I’ll say one thing for Ron Paul. He will make for a great chairman of the FED under the new Republican president that wins the election late next year. For someone who always spoke of term limits, he will complete twelve terms for 24 years in Congress at the end of 2012. Ron Paul announced his “new focus” via a tweet:

I have decided not to seek re-election to Congress. Full story here bit.ly/rpAG85

The next Congress just wouldn’t be the same without Ron Paul and his Israel hating pal Dennis Kucinich once his district is eliminated.
