Rasmussen: Obama 43% – Rick Perry 40%

rick-perryA recent Gallup poll found Obama and Rick Perry tied at 47% in a hypothetical mathup. The latest Rasmussen poll’s results aren’t really that far off of Gallup’s numbers. In the that poll, Obama barely leads Rick Perry 43% to 40% with plenty of undecided voters.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows the President earning 43% of the vote if Texas Governor Rick Perry is the GOP nominee. Perry attracts support from 40%. Ten percent (10%) say they’d prefer some other candidate while seven percent (7%) are not sure.
