Yet another corrupt New York House Democrat Gregory Meeks being probed for possible criminal charges for his failure to report a $40,000 ‘loan’
There just has to be something in the water in the loony state of New York. How else does one explain so many corrupt politicians (90% of which are Democrats) that actually get caught? Charlie Rangel, Tickle Me Eric Massa, Chris Lee, Anthony Weiner, and now House Rep. Gregory Meeks. According to the New York Post, Meeks is being probed for possible criminal charges for his failure to report a $40,000 payment from a businessman. Meeks Represents New York slum area of Queens, and is it has a +36 Democrat rating. The seat is safe for Democrats. According to the site, that investigators claim that the payment appears to have been an illegal gift, rather than a loan like Meeks claims. — and not a loan, as he has claimed.
62% think the bogus compromise debt ceiling deal wouldn’t lead to any real cuts over 10 years
S&P obviously doesn’t think the debt ceiling raising bill will lead to any significant cuts in the next tens years, so why should the American people? 62% of those polled by Rasmussen doubt that the so called “spending cuts” in the bill will actually happen. I’m with those 62%.
Jim DeMint tweets about Obama’s failure on credit rating downgrade
One of the few actual conservatives left in the Senate, Jim DeMint is calling on Obama to fire tax cheat Treasury Secretary. It was Geithner who said in April that the country is at no risk at all for a credit downgrade. Well, like everything else Obama and Geithner says, it was pure bullsh*t. S&P has cut America’s credit rating from AAA to AA+ with a negative outlook. Why? The fact that the massive debt has now hit 101% of GDP might be on reason? Another reason was the so called “compromise” that Obama forced raising the debt ceiling, in which many Republicans caved. Instead of doing something like Cap, Cap and Balance or a balanced budget amendment, we are stuck with the pitiful debt ceiling hike of $2.4 trillion that will do NOTHING to help control the debt.

Just what the far left progressives in this country want. More poverty, and more people relying on the government for hand outs. Thanks to Obama, and the radical Marxist left wing policies, a record number of Americans are on food stamps. According to CNN Money 45.8 MILLION Americans out of the 309 million population are on food stamps. This is about 15% of the entire population of the country. Check out this chart, you can see how the number of people on food stamps have shot up ever since botox Nancy Pelosi took over Congress in 2007 and even more so since radical extremist became President in 2009.

The Nasdaq fell by 106 points (or 4.3%.) The S&P 500 crashed by 59 points or 4.7%. This is the biggest dive since 2008. Or maybe it’s another “fat finger crash.” Not very likely.
