Construction union thugs rebuilding Ground Zero getting drunk on the job and “stumbling” back to work
Look for the union label! Here is yet another fine example of the “benefits” union thugs and slobs get. Remember last year when Fox News caught UAW workers in Detroit getting stoned and drunk on the job? Apparently, it’s not just auto worker union thugs. It also applies to construction union thugs. Well, at least those working on rebuilding Ground Zero. New York Post reports that Ground Zero union hardhats were found guzzling beers and shots at nearby bars during lunch, before stumbling back to their dangerous jobs.
With cost overruns crossing the $2 billion mark and the 10th anniversary of 9/11 approaching, some reckless workers were seen on midday breaks last week filling their bellies with enough booze to become legally drunk.
The men then stumbled back to the site, where workers have reached the 78th floor of 1 World Trade Center as they attempt to build a virtually indestructible skyscraper.

After crashing to a record low of 39% approval rating on yesterday’s Gallup poll, Obama’s weekly average dipped to an average of 40% approval. The disapproval for the week of August 8th through August 14th also hit a record high of 52%.
Obama’s weekly average was 42% for the two weeks prior to last week, which at that time also marked new lows for his administration. His lowest three-day average prior to Aug. 11-13 had been 40%.

Hit the road loser Tim Pawlenty, and take your little ball with you like a spoiled kid. Pawlenty decided to give his “exclusive” announcement to fake Jake Tapper this morning and ABC that he was dropping out of the GOP presidential race. ABC after all is last in ratings for the Sunday morning news programs ever since Christiane Amanpour took over, so it was the perfect fit.

Frankly, I don’t know what took so long. For the first time since Dope and Deranged began in 2009, Obama’s approval rating has finally crashed under 40%. This is the first poll yet (by Gallup) that shows Obama’s approval rating at a meager, Carter or Bush like 39%. A whopping 54% of those polled disapprove of the soon to be vacationing (yet again) Marxist style of government. Not only did Ron Paul tweet about his “historic” second place finish in the Ames Iowa straw poll, but he also got a retweet from Donald Trump. Let me say this about Ron Paul. I agree with about 90% of his positions. The only thing I don’t basically is MOST of his foreign policy. When he went on his rant about how Iran should be allowed to get a nuclear weapon at the Fox News GOP debate, I just shook my head. But that’s just me. A lot of people love this guy, and frankly I would have no problem voting for Ron Paul if he won the GOP nomination just to get rid of Obama.

Ok, I admit I was wrong. I thought Ron Paul would win the Ames, Iowa straw poll. He always has his “fans” flooding polls. While Ron Paul was close, he still couldn’t overcome Michele Bachmann in the Ames straw poll, who most others picked to win going away. RINO Tim Pawlenty came in third, more than two thousand votes behind both Paul and Bachmann. Rick Santorum came in fourth and Herman Cain fifth. If you are wondering about Rick Perry, Hotair reports that he 718 write-in votes without even bothering to show up.
Of course, the big question won’t be what this means, but if it means anything at all. The consistent poll frontrunner, Mitt Romney, didn’t contest the straw poll, although he did show up for the debate and did some local campaigning this week. Perry’s entry to the race means the arguable #2 candidate in the race didn’t compete, either. Those two developments mean that the winner might be battling for third place everywhere else but Iowa, and maybe even here after a few weeks have passed.
