The land of fruits and nuts known as California lost 8,400 jobs in August. The unemployment rate spiked to 12.1%, the second highest in te nation. Yet Governor “Moonbeam” Jerry Brown doesn’t seem to care. At least he hasn’t said anything about August’s horrendous job numbers. I guess in progressive land, that’s considered good, since it gets more people on the government’s teet.

You’d have to dig into the middle of the New York Times article before you find out the record low approval rating numbers hit by Obama at 43%. The story about Obama’s approval/disapproval ratings (which also hit a record high for this poll) is mostly about bashing Republicans and candidates for the 2012 election. Then the Slimes story tries to calm down the far left KLOWNS by stating how low Jimmy Carter’s approval ratings were at this time in his first term. Then they use Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush’s approval ratings as contrasts also. They even include some good old fashion George W. Bush bashing too. Regardless of how they sugar coat it, Obama is going down the toilet, and not even biased fish wraps like the New York Times, or the propaganda TV Network CBS can hide it anymore.
Obama’s Solargate: Solyndra applied for a second loan valued at $469 million – no word if they got the money
Hmm. Obama’s solargate Solyndra scandal maybe actually be worth a full billion, rather than half a billion!f According to the Daily Caller, the failed solar panel maker Solyndra’s filings show that seven months after the Obama regime approved a $535 million federal loan guarantee, Solyndra applied for a second one valued at $469 million. It’s unclear if they ever received the money as the, as the Department of Energy refused to respond for Daily Caller’s request for comments.

ABC News posted the comments, but of course you will never hear about it on their television news broadcasts. hat his odds of winning in 2012 for much higher than his election in 2008.

So how did Mitt Romney top his endorsement from wimpy Minnesota RINO Tim Pawlenty? How about one from previously the worst President in U.S. History (before Barack Hussein Obama), Jimmy Peanuthead Carter? This may be the kiss of death for Romney. According to The Hill, Carter said he would be “pleased” to see Romney win the Republican nomination.
“I’m not taking a position, but I would be very pleased to see him win the Republican nomination,” Carter said on an interview on MSNBC set to air Thursday night.
Obama regime e-mails worried about Solyndra default – OMB official concerned about coinciding with the 2012 campaign season
The walls continue to crumble around the Obama regime as the Solargate scandal involving Solyndra continues to expand. According to Big Government, new e-mails were released late Thursday night by the AP that show that officials in the White House were privately very concerned over the viability of Solyndra even as they publicly declared the solar panel manufacturer was in good shape.
“The optics of a Solyndra default will be bad,” an official from the Office of Management and Budget wrote in a Jan. 31 email to a senior OMB official. “The timing will likely coincide with the 2012 campaign season heating up.”

As if on cue, just days later President Obama selected someone who exemplifies a major crony capitalism problem to sit next to the First Lady when he delivered his “jobs plan” speech before Congress. He selected General Electric CEO Jeffrey Immelt as his honored guest.
Having grown up with great respect for GE thanks to stories my grandfather shared with us about his days working for the company and even meeting GE spokesman-at-the-time Ronald Reagan during a company event, I am saddened at GE’s leadership evolution. This corporation is now the poster child of corporate welfare and crony capitalism.

Another goodie in American Jobs Act – job-seekers can sue companies if they claim to have been discriminated against due to employment status
Not only is the American Jobs Act aka the Son of Stimulus bill a payoff to union thugs and slobs, but it’s also a payoff to trial lawyers. According to The Hill, Obama’s porkulus bill has a section called “Prohibition of Discrimination in Employment on the Basis of an Individual’s Status as Unemployed.” This section would make it “illegal” for employers to not hire someone purely on “job status.” It would also allow those who claim to have been discriminated against to sue the company and seek damages. This should do wonders for company to run out and interview people for jobs don’t you think?
Obama: ‘If You Love Me, You’ve Got to Help Me Pass This Bill’
All the more reason not to pass the son of stimulus. Never mind the fact that the bill is horrendous, jacks up taxes by a half a trillion dollars, and also a new provision that allows those applying for a job to sue the company of they don’t get hired, because they can claim “unemployment discrimination.” Oh, and did I mention that this “American Jobs Act” is nothing more than a payoff to the unions?
