Underemployment rises 0.3 points to 16.5% in September regular unemployment rate stays at 9.1%

obama-failThe media is in a tizzy today because September actually saw a few jobs add, unlike August which saw a total of ZERO from President Zero. Problem for the progressive media hacks, 45,000 of the jobs “added” in September were the returning Verizon telecommunications workers who had been on strike in August. Basically what you get from these numbers that the media is jizzing to is that if you deduct the Verizon union thugs returning to work from a strike, about 58,000 jobs were added in September. Amazing, even with these anemic job numbers, the “regular” unemployment rate hasn’t change from 9.1% in three months. What the lame stream media wouldn’t tell is that that the underemployment rate which measures not only the unemployed, but also those working part time jobs who want full time employment rose in September by 0.3% to 16.5%.

Since May of this year, the underemployment rate his risen from 15.8% to the 16.5% rate it sits at today. Thanks Obamanomics! PASS MY BILL!
