GOP Debate on CNN – October 18th, 2011

Debate is over. This debate I thought was interesting for change. But five minutes into CNN’s “post game coverage” revealed CNN’s pathetic. Somehow, according to David Gergen, Obama won the debate tonight! Seriously. Anderson Cooper didn’t do any of his fairy giggles, but agreeding with Gergen. Overall, I thought Newt Gingrich (again) did very well. Rick Santorum and Ron Paul (until the foreign policy issues came up) did good too. Debate started out attack Herman Cain over his 9-9-9 plan. Romney was protected for awhile, but once RomneyCARE came up, the attacks got going do. On illegal immigration, Rick Perry and Mitt Romney really went at it. I thought they were going to punch each other at one point. I can’t pick a winner of this debate yet. You can read other’s analysis of this debate at some of my favorite sites like The Gateway Pundit, The Other McCain, Michelle Malkin, Weasel Zippers and Hotair. Videos below.

The introduction:

The debate started out as a Herman Cain bashfest over his 9-9-9 plan:

The the RomneyCARE showdown:

Romney and Perry arguing over illegal immigration. Looking like they were about to punch each other.

Herman Cain speaks the truth and says the Occupy Wall Street nut jobs should be at 1600 Pennsylvania avenue:

Dumb ass Rick Perry keeps referring to Herman Cain as “brother” for some reason. Should I break out the race card? Nah.

I am so tired of hearing Republicans arguing between themselves or frankly, everybody they come across – obviously they don’t have a problem with liberals they have a problem with anybody that does not agree with their ideology. Let’s not forget how we got here in the first place, starting with an illegal war that we have spent trillions on. Mitt, didn’t win 4 years ago for a reason, I feel like we have hit rewind. Can somebody PLEASE send these “boys” to the school of edict and Toast Masters? Mitt and Rick look like Ken the Barbie doll and when they open their mouth I just hear “stupid”. ”If you don’t have anything nice to say than don’t say anything at all”. It might help them get more air time with the Networks that eat this stuff up, but when it comes to making a choice in 2012 don’t think it will be lost on the American people! Can we please have a serious, mature debate without this childish BS, PLEASE !!
