Gabby Giffords will run for Congress in 2012
If there’s one Democrat I don’t mind seeing win next year, it’s Gabby Giffords. In fact, she is the only Democrat I could ever be happy seeing win an election. After all the pain, rehab and surgeries she’s been through, how can you not root for her? Even before left wing terrorist Jared Lee Loughner shot her in January, she was considered a “blue dog Democrat” and was hated by most progressives because of her stance mainly on border security. According to The Hill, Giffords intends to run again next year for Congress. In her new book entitled Gabby: A Story of Courage and Hope, she vowed to return.
“I will get stronger. I will return,”
No Republicans plans to challenge her if she does run, but a far left progressive liberal Democrat has already decided to try and primary her.
