Scary – Newt Gingrich co-sponsored 418 bills with Nancy Pelosi while being a member of the House of Representatives

newt-gingrich-rinoYou know, I really hope some one else emerges from the pile of GOP candidates. Newt Gingrich while a great debater does not impress me. Mittens Romney is well, Mittens Romney. I knew Gingrich was bad, but did you know that he co-sponsored 418 bills with Nancy Pelosi over the twelve years the two of them spent  together in the House of Representatives? I didn’t either until I read this Daily Caller article.

Gingrich co-sponsored 418 bills in Congress with Pelosi during the 12 years they served together in the House, according to the Library of Congress’s THOMAS database.

Gingrich was in Congress from 1979 to 1999. Pelosi has served since 1987.

Another tidbit you might find interesting is that Weeper Boehner has co-sponsored 104 bills with Pelosi, over more than twenty years.
