Rasmussen Iowa GOP poll: Romney 25% Paul 20% Gingrich 17%

mitt-romneyGingrich’s plunge continues. Earlier this week PPP had a poll showing Ron Paul ahead of Mitt Romney with Gingrich in third place. This poll seems to confirm Gingrich’s epic tumble in Iowa, expect it has Mittens Romney ahead of Ron Paul by five points. The new Rasmussen Reports poll of Iowa caucus participants shows Romney with 25% and Ron Paul at 20%. Gingrich has fallen all the way down to 17%. Other interesting results of this poll show Rick Perry AND Rick Santorum in double digits.

Texas Governor Rick Perry and former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum, both at 10%, are the only other candidates in double-digits. Minnesota Congresswoman Michele Bachmann earns six percent (6%), former Utah Governor Jon Huntsman four percent (4%), while one percent (1%) prefer some other candidate and eight percent (8%) are not sure.

Doesn’t mean much. We can still get a nominee who can actually win, and not Romney.
