Ron Paul now second nationally, Rick Santorum up in latest Reuters/Ipsos poll GOP poll
While Newt Gingrich has plummeted 19 points in the latest Reuters/Ipsos poll GOP poll, Ron Paul and Rick Santorum are moving up to try and challenge Mittens. According to the poll Romney still leads with 29% of the national GOP vote. Ron Paul has now moved into second place at 21% of the vote, an increase of five points since the latest Reuters poll. Rick Santorum is also on the move. He is up five points to 18%. If this poll is any indication, Mittens isn’t the “anointed one” and there will be a fight for the GOP nomination.
Mittens gets 29% of the vote, Ron Paul gets 21%, Newt Gingrich drops to 20% and Rick Santorum stands at 18%. Only eleven point separate the top and bottom.
