Rasmussen Michigan Republican Primary poll: Rick Santorum 35%, Mitt Romney 32%, Ron Paul 13%, Newt Gingrich 11%

rick-santorumThis Rasmussen poll of the February 28th Michigan Republican primary is now the third poll showing Rick Santorum beating Mitt Romney. A PPP outlier poll showed Santorum beating Romney by 15 points. An American Research Group poll showed Santorum up on Romney in Michigan by six points.  Bottom line is Mittens is in trouble. If he can’t even win his birth state where his father was governor in the 1960′s, you know he’s in deep.

The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Republican Primary Voters in Michigan shows Santorum with 35% of the vote to Romney’s 32%. Well behind are Texas Congressman Ron Paul with 13% and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich with 11%. Only one percent (1%) prefers some other candidate in the race, while eight percent (8%) are undecided.
