Iowa has voted Republican once for president since 1984. The year was 2004 when DUBYA beat John Heinz Kerry. In every other presidential election including George H.W. Bush’s landslide victory in 1988, Iowa has voted Democrat.But according to the latest Des Moines Register poll posted at Hotair, three of the four GOP candidates would beat the Marxist Obama in November. The candidate who does best against Obama is Ron Paul. Yes, Ron Paul actually leads Obama by seven points at 49% to 42%.
Rick Santorum leads Marxist Obama by four points at 48% to 44%. And Mitt Romney leads Obama by two at 46% to 44%. Unfortunately, Newt Gingrich gets crushed by Obama in this poll at 51% to 37%.
