Mitt Romney wins Puerto Rico Republican primary
No shocker here. Mitt Romney wins the Puerto Rico Republican primary. The vote wasn’t even close with Romney capturing over 80% of the vote at the time of posting. Rick Santorum will end up second, Newt Gingrich will be third and Ron Paul last. The only position that matters is the winner of the Puerto Rico primary is this a winner take all for delegates. Governor Luis Fortuno endorsed Romney before to primary, and Mittens has been pandering to Puerto Rico to allow them to become a state if he becomes president.
All twenty of the delegates from Puerto Rico will go to Mittens. Three delegates are free to endorse whomever they are, so Mittens may end up with 23 delegates.
