Obama booed loudly at Fenway Park 100th anniversary celebration in Boston

obama-frownUpdate 4/21/12: Judging by the reaction, the video probably is fake. Hotair has the details of the booing at Fenway Park, and why it has been so difficult to find an actual video of the booing taking place:

Update: Just received from reader John T.:

I was at the Red Sox game yesterday and can confirm the reported booing occurred, mixed with cheers at about a 50/50 ratio I’d say.

I think the reason there’s no video is because of the timing. The opening ceremony, which lasted about an hour, had officially ended and the game had begun. Most people, myself included, had stowed their phones and settled in for the game.

Obama’s message was brief, perhaps 10 seconds long, and began to play, I believe, after the first inning or half inning. It took me (and likely most others) by surprise, so there was little opportunity to catch the moment on video. As it turned out, there were other prerecorded messages played all game long between innings. Obama’s was just the first, and the only one booed. Most, if not all, of the other messages played were from people with Boston roots (e.g., Conan O’Brien, Dennis Leary, Mark Wahlberg), and they all received favorable reactions from the crowd.

Update: Video added. Picture is blurred, but the audio is fine. Some are calling it a fake. It’s obvious that Obama got booed loudly at Fenway Park and the pink slime media is hiding the video. Watch the video for yourself, and decide if it’s real or not.

Ok. I’m shocked. Boston is basically no better than San Francisco, and Massachusetts is no better than California. But fans in attendance for Fenway Park’s 100th anniversary celebration booed Obama’s video message commemorating the baseball stadium’s 100 years. This is really surprising to me from a city that re elected Barney Frank over and over again for 30 years. I can’t wait until a video is made available of this. The pink slime media is probably in full meltdown mode as a write this. Maybe the Obama propanganda ministers in the press will claim the Boston crowd chant OBOOma! OBOOma! Being an L.A. sports team homer like I am, I can safely say that today is the first time in my adult life I’ve been proud of Boston fans.
