Major League Baseball now spewing global warming propaganda through announcer Tim McCarver (Video)
Can’t I even watch a damn sports event without hearing left wing loons spew their propaganda? I guess I can’t if I want to watch a Major League Baseball game. His name is Tim McCarver, and has been a MLB announcer for decades now. McCarver has always been a hack. In 2010 he had the nerve to compare the New York Yankees treatment of Joe Torre like Nazi Germany and Stalinist Russia treated its generals. The New York Yankees and Torre parted ways after 12 seasons, and by 2010 Torre was managing the Los Angeles Dodgers. So today during a game between the St. Louis Cardinals and Milwaukee Brewers, Tim McCarver made the bold proclamation that there are more home runs hit now because the air is thinner from global warming.
Tim McCarver: “[T]he air is thinning…. There have been climatic changes over the last 50 years…. I think that’s one of the reasons balls are carrying much better now.”
Joe Buck [Fox Sports play-by-play announcer]: “So that’s your ‘inconvenient truth’ about it?”
McCarver: “You’re going to find it out one of these days, yes.”

Actually Timmy, there aren’t as many home runs these days. It’s not the late 1990s or early 2000s when players were juicing up on steroids.
