Scott Walker ends up with more votes in Wisconsin recall election than John McCain got in presidential election of 2008

scott-walkerThink the unions aren’t toast and Wisconsin isn’t turning conservative? Check out this stat that I felt was noteworthy. Scott Walker ended up with 1,334,450 votes, winning the Wisconsin recall election by a bigger margin than he won his original election. To put this in perspective, RINO John McCain got only 1,262,393 votes in the 2008 presidential election! Very impressive in a non presidential election. Scott Walker also made history by becoming the first governor to survive a recall election. Only two other times were governors facing recalls, and both times they lost. The most recent recall was in 2001 n California with Gray Davis (which eventually led to failure Arnold Schwarzenegger.)
