Gallup: Nearly half of Americans polled say ObamaCARE will harm the economy
So much for people falling in love with ObamaCARE if the Supreme Court upheld the law. Nearly half of those polled by Gallup (46%) think ObamaCARE will harm the economy, just 37% think ObamaCARE will help the economy. It breaks down along party lines as usual as 78% of Republicans think ObamaCARE will harm the economy. But a surprisingly high 20% of Democrats seem to agree. The important stat once again is among independents. 47% of independents polled think ObamaCARE will hurt the economy while just 34% think it will do good for the economy.
Americans are more likely to say the 2010 healthcare law upheld by the Supreme Court last week will hurt the national economy (46%) rather than help it (37%), while 18% say they don’t know or that it will have no effect.
