Texas RINO Lamar Smith to bring back SOPA and PIPA in more powerful parts
They don’t stop do they? The groups that support Internet censorship bills like SOPA and PIPA are Hollywood hacks, the MPAA and the RIAA. All left wing groups that for some reason Lamar Smith wants to pander to. According to Daily Caller, Smith is set to bring back SOPA and PIPA in more powerful parts.
Smith, the author of SOPA, remained undeterred earlier this year as popular support waned for his original bill. Now, he has apparently taken a piecemeal approach to getting sections of it passed.
Where SOPA said it would create “attaches” who are tasked with providing “aggressive support for enforcement action” in other countries, Smith’s new bill would give these agents more power.
I’m really getting sick and tired of these arrogant SOBs in goverment trying to control our lives and censor us. I don’t care what political party they belong to. I wish Lamar Smith would have been primaryed this year.
