Blue blood Dick Cheney: Picking Sarah Palin in 2008 was a mistake (Video)
I generally have the utmost respect for Dick Cheney. A lot of times while Bush was president, I had more respect Cheney rather than Bush. But today I lost a lot of respect for Cheney. Sucking up to ABC, Dick Cheney called the 2008 McCain pick of Sarah Palin as a running mate a ‘mistake.’ I had to break it to you DICK, but no Republican would have beaten Obama in 2008, no matter who the running mate was. In fact, by picking Palin, John McCain probably saved himself from an even bigger loss in 2008 as Palin was the only one to charge up the base. If McCain had picked someone like Romney, or Huckabee, McCain would have lost Missouri, probably Montana and other close states. What is it with these blue bloods like Cheney who have to continually bash Sarah Palin? Are they really that afraid that the good ole boys network is changing towards more constitutional conservative values rather than just tucking their tail between their legs and ‘going along’ with Big Government Marxist Democrats? The mistake was choosing McCain to be the candidate in the first place. The other mistake was hiring Steve Schmidt and Nicole Wallace to run the campaigns.
