Your stimulus tax dollar at work: half a million wasted on green energy propaganda ads on MSNBC – ZERO jobs created

obama-laughingWhen your tax dollars aren’t wasted on such important stimulus projects as studying cow farts or watching shrimps running on treadmills, they are given to MSNBC for green energy propaganda ads. In fact, nearly half a million of your dollars went to MSNBC with GE CEO Jeffrey Immelt. GE of course just so happened to own NBC/MSNBC at the time the stimulus passed, and GE still has a large stake in NBC even after the sale to Comcast. Move along, nothing fishy to see here.

The Labor Department paid out hundreds of thousands of dollars in federal stimulus funds to a public relations firm to run more than 100 commercials touting the Obama administration’s “green training” job efforts on two MSNBC cable shows, records show.
The commercials ran on MSNBC on shows hosted by Rachel Maddow and Keith Olbermann in 2009, but the contract didn’t report any jobs created, according to records reviewed recently by The Washington Times.
