Democrat Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn threatens to call off RNC convention because of Tropical Storm Issac
Slimy Democrat Mayor of Tampa Bob Buckhorn is threatening to call of the RNC convention because of Tropical Storm Issac which can hit Florida next week. Of course Issas will be a Tropical Storm or minimal hurricane by next week, and Florida has dealt with massive Hurricanes like Andrew in 1992. Issac isn’t expected to be more than a category 1 hurricane (if that), yet the Democrat Mayor of Tampa is threatening to call off next week’s convention. Obviously, this is nothing more than a pathetic political ploy by Buckhorn.
According to the Weather Channel, Isaac could be upgraded to a hurricane as early as Thursday. The Republican National Convention begins Monday.
At the moment, the storm is headed toward Cuba and Hispaniola. It remains to be seen whether the storm will continue into Florida, and if so, if it will hit Tampa. The storm could also continue westward to the Gulf of Mexico.
“It’s too early to give specifics,” according to the Weather Channel.
