Media obsesses over Todd Akin – gets four times more coverage than Joe Biden’s chains racial remark
Here is yet another fine example of the double standard and hypocrisy of not only Democrats, but their press secretaries in the media. Todd Akin’s stupid ‘legitimate rape’ comment was just that, stupid. It wasn’t racist, it didn’t incite violence, and he didn’t poop on any police cars like Obama’s occupiers did. Yet, Todd Akin’s stupid comment has gotten four times the media coverage by the Obama press secretaries in the pink slime media than the racist Joe Biden’s ‘chains’ remark got. This is what makes Akin’s comments that much worse. Not so much that he made a stupid comment, but the fact he gave the corrupt media and the Democrats ammunition to distract away from Obama’s failed economic record. This is another reason why he should have dropped out of the Senate race yesterday so that a Republican could run against Air Claire without this hanging over them.
If Akin’s gaffe should result in him dropping out, then Biden should drop out every week.
The liberal media will do anything (except report on Biden’s unrelenting stupidity) to avoid Telling the Truth about Barack Obama’s horrendous economic record. This has been the liberal media’s playbook throughout the campaign If it hurts Barack Obama’s chances of re-election, ignore it. If it hurts his Republican rivals, give it four times the coverage.
