Charles Krauthammer owns Inside Washington leftist hacks – Can’t believe they are covering for Obama over BengahziGate (Video)

Though Charles Krauthammer was a lot nicer than I would have been asking the Inside Washington leftist hacks like Nina Totenberg why they are covering up the Obama scandal of Benghazi-Gate, Krauthammer point blank asked the hacks ‘why are you guys covering for Obama’ over BenghaziGate.


“I just want to respond to my liberal pals over here,” Krauthammer said, referring to NPR’s Nina Totenberg, PBS’ Mark Shields, and Politico’s Evan Thomas. “I can’t believe you guys are covering for the administration on the Susan Rice thing when they themselves said five days later it was obviously a terror attack.”

“Obviously, everybody could see it. So why for a week did the administration pretend that it was a demonstration?” he asked.

    The most disturbing thing about that segment is the initial reaction Krauthammer gets from the others on the panel when he first mentions “covering for the Administration”.

    In essence, their body language and facial expressions give the message “oh, here we go again – another conservative fantasy about how we (the media) are not doing our job” – you can almost see that thought floating across their foreheads.

    I used to think the media acted in the manner it did because of both a fear and a desire – fear of appearing ‘racist’ if they asked Obama the candidate too many hard questions, and a quite natural (and understandable) human desire to be a part of history-in-the-making. So they soft-pedaled on Candidate Obama in 2007-2008.

    But now, this ‘soft-pedal’ has become part of their “dna” – giving the President “the benefit of the doubt” and not asking the tough questions – to such an extent, if anyone mentions the media’s response to something out of the Administration that is plainly a fantasy, their reaction is to act as if the query itself is fantastical and there is something ‘odd and strange’ about the person asking.

    Don’t think so? Watch the body language again of the others as Krauthammer is asking his question.

    Sadly and alarmingly, the “giving cover” nature of the media’s relationship with this Administration is now SO MUCH a part of their dna, they DO NOT SEE what they have become. They truly don’t.
