Obama down to 8 safe states + DC – Romney takes lead in projected Electoral College Votes
Slip slidin’ away from Obama. Mitt Romney is pulling ahead of the crumbling Obama, and panic is setting in. Now, the Real Clear Politics projects (which isn’t partisan) shows Obama with only EIGHT states that are considered safe for the November 6th election. Mitt Romney has no taken the lead in the projected electoral college vote of 206 to 201 with 131 EVs listed as toss-up. North Carolina (a state Obama won in 2008) has been moved out of toss-up to lean Romney. But there is also another very interesting change. New Jersey once considered ‘likely’ Obama has been downgraded to ‘leans’ Obama. NEW JERSEY!
The only one who mentioned that New Jersey could even be in play was Dick Morris. I tend to dismiss whatever he says, but how the hell is a deep blue state like New Jersey no only ‘leans’ Obama?
