Colorado early voting: 39% Republican 36% Democrat with 20,000 GOP lead (Dems had 2 point advantage in 08)
If you want to panic and go by those heavily weighted polls in Colorado favoring Obama (like the CNN poll released today), you might think Obama is ahead in Colorado. CNN’s poll today had a D+2 sample size, when in 2008 the turnout was R+1 in the ObamaWAVE election. Yet another BS poll from a BS propaganda news outlet. If you want to go by reality, look no further than the early voting in the state. So far in Colorado, 3% more Republicans have voted than Democrats, and Republicans have a lead of about 20,000. Small margin obviously, but compare this to 2004. When Colorado voted for Bush that year, Republicans lead early voting by 16,000. The intensity in Colorado like many other states is historic for the GOP, like in 2010.
COLORADO: Early vote stands at 39%R, 36%D with about 20k vote lead for GOP. Dems led 2008 by 2% or 31k in 2008, GOP led by 16k in 2004. **
