Since Obama’s re-election: over 100,000 layoffs at more than 125 businesses (so far)

cartoon_-_obama_arrogantYou can thank the stupid American voter who either voted for Obama, or didn’t turn out to vote for Mitt Romney in the recent election for the recent layoffs. Obama has made it quite clear that he want’s to destroy the economy, as have far left Marxist Democrat. They all want citizens to be dependent on the government for handouts, not on paychecks. Below is a partial list of over 100,000 jobs that have been lost since Obama’s re-election a week and a half ago. Again, this is only a partial list, it doesn’t even factor in nearly 18,000 jobs lost at Hostess. This is only the beginning. Once taxes go up (as we all know they will because Republicans will cave), this number will look small in comparison. Also in the list are several businesses that have closed since the election, and companies that have filed for bankruptcy since November 6th.

These numbers are low and incomplete. Case in point is they list 627 laid off from Hostess. The number should be closer to 18,500 and the company is now defunct. I do hope it happens first to the supporters (both companies and individuals) who voted for obama. We stood a chance of fixing this. Thanks to blind party or racially based reasons, that chance is gone. No way obama or Reid’s Senate will come to a reality-based compromise that can have any real chance of saving our economy.

    • Dawn Larson

others are saying just over 1,430,000 since election, including Hostess .. the problem is that there does not seem to be an accurate database being built to track this data and the Labor Dept. [of course] is no help. And just like Hostess, the direct jobs loss of 18000 + does not include the indirect ripple affect for people in distribution centers, packaging facilities and the independent delivery drivers, vendors or display merchandisers.

    • JJ

And plenty more, where the list came from Dailyjobcuts com

  • Jack

The way this administration counts, this should result in a downward spiral of the unemployment rate.

Jan. 2009 I was laid off from Midwest Grain Products in Pekin , Il. I had 26 1/2 YEARS there. A month later they shuttered the facility for 13 months. The company made an agreement with another company to allow the NEW company to operate the facility splitting profits playing by their rules. #1–seniority is “old school”. Call back who they want. #2–TWELVE hour shifts from now on. # 3–the pensions are FROZE!~~! No more increased benefits. I managed to find a job (part time / no benefits ) making what I made when I started the factory job 26 1/2 years earlier !~~! As my unemployment was about to run out I, my wife and our then 8 yr old daughter left the US. We left on one way tickets and MOVED to the Philippines.

    Welcome to Obamaworld. Stupid voters.

  • Unsheepled

But how many would have happened if either bankster puppet got selected? Its easy to hate the left, when that what the tv tells you to do, HOW many would have lost their jobs ANYWAY? Some people paint Mittens as this great job saver, which is banal and ignorant.Because his greatest achievement is outsourcing JOBS to other countries.. lest the lemmings forget!

    • Dod Snoopdod

remember the big bank, insurance co., wall street bailouts?
Obama is a bankster puppet on steroids.

    • Joyce Herder

Bain capital, takes businesses that are in trouble and tries to reconstruct them. Some will fail, some will prosper. Their job is to make them prosper so if that means over seas then that is what they have to do for their investors. You can thank Unions for many of their troubles. This in no way is/was Romneys fault.

What are two things you can’t fix in America? Stupid and Lazy, which is the two qualities in the people who voted for Obama.

  • Americalovesme

How can you blame Obama? he has nothing to do with it.

    • Zane

???????’!!!!!!!!!!??! Obamacare ‘!!!!!! You dumb fool! How do you think they can pay for healthcare if they don’t layoff workers? It will cost a family of three approximately 1’500 a month for coverage if paid for privately. companies with full time workers must offer health insurance, that is why the companies are going under! Every democrat voter should be rounded up an thrown in a forced labor camp to help pay there fair share!

      • Yuy Yamato

they should all be wearing and orange suit

      • Peter from Whittier

Dude, Fuck off with the name calling, because it only distracts from your point (regardless whether you missed it or not). That said, here’s what a liberal voter has to say in regards to “obama care”; we are aspiring to create a single -payer system, however the company budgets do not reflect any interest in the said system. It’s like budgeting the monthly necessities, yet never contributing to a 401k, IRA, ROTH IRA, etc. We have a culture that’s shifting its zeitgeist on Health Care for more justifiable reasons than one can recant, and the change is more aggressive than the private sector can support.

    • guest

This person is TOO STOOOOPID to know what is going on in the world. RETARDS like this are the BIGGEST problem this country faces. You have to admit, our current Guvmint A-holes shouldn’t even be TRUSTED as a dog catchers.

What planet have you been living on?

    • gbon

What planet do you live on??? Obama has said he was going to destroy this country and he is doing an outstanding job of it.
If that’s what you like about him, you hate your country.

    • Spencer Papi

You are so Ignorant it hurts

  • Americalovesme

    Your ingnorant

    • Zane

Well you think that I am ignorant, why don’t you explain for the masses then how that democrats can think George Bush is the root cause of the “inherited” budgeting debt problem we now have! Obama has out spent every president in history of America, and now the goverment revenue in taxes is not enough and has now “hopes” to force us to pay for health care with money that is not in circulation; where is the money going to come from hauh? If you put in the same hard work that the rich have and climbed up from poverty, would you want to have every one leaching off you?

Can I come over to your house? How about you pay for my car , and apartment, gym membership, car insurance, food, clothes, health care, phone , Internet , entertainment, college and let me take it easy! I really like fine dinning; how about it, is that really fair ??? The rich worked harder and more hours then us and should be allowed to enjoy their earnings. What do anyone one of us have to look forward to from working harder and putting more hours in if we can’t enjoy it. Why would anyone want to work at all if you only had to carry more people’s financial burdens. .

This Obama care is an abomination to the work force and to capitalist people everywhere, it’s not in step with what makes people productive and is why that the new health care system is causing such high job loss, it represents ideology from the communist era. It weakens the nation and sets up the president as an imperialist. Trust me neighbor there is no chance of improving ones life under such a totalitarian and draconian system as is comming about in this country.

Your saying nothing more than that you accept slavery and that at the hands of this leader! History shows tells us that mankind is prone to repeat its errors! The first black slaves were caught by African traders, basically black men traded there countrymen for profit and power. Obama is true to his core roots!

    • Mark

Ignorant?! Really?! That’s your entire rebuttal because you have no argument. Wow! Pathetic! You brain dead liberals would fall on your sword for Obama because you’re so infatuated and hang on his every word as if he were God himself. That’s pretty damn scary!

Holy hell that rant had very little actual facts in it. For one hilter was fascist, and hated communism. As for Stalin, he did do some very nasty things but his “5 year plan” did bring USSR out of a depression and make them a comparable nation to the U.S.A. And China does actually have 1.3billion+ people. As A global society we are burning through resources much to fast. All you really have done is show your truly lacking education.

  • Rachel

LOL…it’s going to get worse, so fasten your seatbelts. You are getting what you paid for, America. I don’t feel sorry for any of the lefties which I hope is most of them (union workers)

  • cebg

The unemployment rate for November DROPPED to 7.7%. These layoff numbers must be wrong? There is no need to extend unemployment benefits because the job market is rallying back.

  • Bob

Again, we beg to ask the now famous question: HOW’S THAT HOPE AND CHANGE WORKIN’ OUT FOR YA???

  • nobody

This only PROVES how badly the tycoons have control of this country. Need to raise taxes back to the 90% – OBVIOUSLY, when rich republican can play these kinds of games with America its time to tax the hell out them.

Only republitards think we can live free under tycoon rule.

  • Cassy_Again

Does anyone do fact checking on these things? I’m pretty sure the Atlantic Lottery Corp, a Canadian lottery operating only in one geographical region within Canada, announced these layoffs prior to the election, and did NOT reduce their workforce because of Obama.

It appears someone simply did a Google search, made a list and that same list has been picked up by other sites over and over again.

    Lazy, unprofessional journalism.

  • tristan
