New Jersey, Maryland, Connecticut, Massachusetts and New Hampshire to see largest tax hikes come Jan 1 2013

obama-loony-toonsCall it poetic justice. Come 2013, the top five states to see the biggest tax hikes if something isn’t done about extending the Bush tax cuts which is more about maintaining the current rates than anything resembling a tax cut are all Obama licking states. New Jersey, with their Obama BFF Chris Christie would see the largest percentage tax increase of all the 50 states, while Maryland, home to a lot of poor people would see taxes raise on average over $7,000 per person. New Hampshire, which had no business voting for Obama in this past election would see the fifth highest tax hikes. Personally, I’m glad.

Top Five Tax Increases Tax Increases as % of Income

#1 – New Jersey $6,933 6.82%

#2 – Maryland $7,194 6.74%

#3 – Connecticut $6,653 6.62%

#4 – Massachusetts $6,632 6.53%

#5 – New Hampshire $5,660 5.81%
