So now the House GOP is getting ready to cave and give Obama half of what he wants. Obama wants $1.6 trillion in new taxes, and now the house GOP is offering $800 billion in new tax revenues. Though they claim they wouldn’t ‘raise the rates.’ How do you generate $800 billion in new tax revenue without higher taxes? Only corrupt politicians can find a way.
