Report: Adam Lanza has Asperger Syndrome and another ‘personality disorder’

Adam Lanza was 20 years old, not old enough to own a gun in the state of Connecticut. So all this bullsh*t about gun laws would have stopped the massacre are completely bogus. Adam Lanza reportedly took the guns which were registered to his mother. There are also now reports that Adam Lanza had Asperger Syndrome and another ‘personality disorder.’ According to Wikipedia, Asperger disorder, is an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) that is characterized by significant difficulties in social interaction, alongside restricted and repetitive patterns of behavior and interests. But remember, it’s all the gun’s fault.

The gun is simply a machine, perfectly designed and constructed to tear dozens of humans apart with the effort of a finger squeeze. You shouldn’t blame it.

Maybe not the gun’s fault. But could the shooter have done the same damage with a stapler, a tennis racket, a knife?

      • Itlaz

The guy in China who sliced up the 22 elementary school children this week apparently did it with a knife.

        • http://twitter.com/plugzero Loren

The kids in China did not die. “Sliced up”, perhaps. But there were no fatalities.

      • Jud

The shooter could have killed more people driving a truck. Do we ban trucks too? The kid was on meds, do we ban meds too? Why is it that the only place where it is illegal to carry a gun is at a school, yet, that is where all the shootings happen? How about gun detectors at schools instead? If you make it illegal to own a gun, you are only taking guns and rights from those who obey the law. Law obiding people aren’t the problem.

More people die every year from drunk driving in this country. Should we ban alcohol and cars while we are at it too?

  • DeadJewsNOW

Adam Lanza – another inbred mentally-ill piece of jewish scum that should have been slaughtered in his jewish hospital.

You people make me sick. We’re coming to take back our right not be shot at random. Go ahead, start stockpiling. We’ll hunt and find you if you’ve got them stashed. Search and seizure is coming. Be afraid. Very afraid. Nothing in the constitution about being able to stop selling and supplying ammo. Run and hide.

    • Jud

Actually it is people like you that are sickening. More people die every year in this country from drunk driving, yet, you aren’t preaching about banning cars and alcohol. Banning guns only takes guns from those who obey the law, meaning, the only ones left who will have guns are cops and those that break the law. So where does that leave law abiding citizens? Unarmed, unsafe, and unprotected until the cops show up, if they show up. What gives you the right to take away law abiding peoples rights? If you don’t want guns legal, then migrate to another country where it is illegal. This is America, we have the right to bear arms. Accept it, or migrate elsewhere.

Autism has absolutely nothing to do with this and as the mother of an austistic child I am absolutely disgusted how a spin has now been put on this and the associatioin that is being made to Austism! Its not the guns fault NOR is it the fact he had Austism.

So he had Asperger’s Syndrome. That doesn’t mean that every man, woman, and child with Aspergers are killing machines. As the libs continue to try to blame all Conservatives for this Pig’s actions, do remember that.

  • nod

So it’s Asperger’s fault? Odd. I’ve had Asperger’s all my life and I’ve never shot anyone. Screw you.

  • Liberty At’Stake

Sounding more like an argument for institutionalization than gun control.

Individuals with Asperger Syndrome or Autism Spectrum Disorder are NOT predisposed to violent or criminal behavior. Research does not back up the violent Asperger’s offender theory, and studied offenders with AS usually had co-morbid mental health issues and/or additional commonly recognized risk factors. More evidence suggests children with Asperger’s syndrome are victims rather than victimizers. Please do not blame Adam Lanza’s actions on Asperger’s, or label the non-neurotypical population based on this tragedy.

  • SpillJewishBlood

“autism” and “apserger’s syndrome” are just imaginary disease diagnoses for people with severe behavior problems, usually due to some trauma perpetrated on them by their evil satanic jewish parents. Adam lanza is a typical, garden-variety JEWISH SATANIST PIECE OF TRASH THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN SLAUGHTERED IN ITS CRIB. THE SCHOOL SHOOTINGS WILL NOT END UNTIL THE JEWISH PRESENCE IN NORTH AMERICA AND EUROPE ENDS. IT”S TIME FOR THESE SCUM TO PAY WITH THEIR CHILDRENS” BLOOD. JEWS DID THE COLUMBINE AND OSLO SHOOTINGS. THEIR SICK RELIGION OF HATE TEACHES THEM TO MURDER NON-JEWS> IT”S WHAT THEY”VE DONE THEIR ENTIRE HISTORY, AND IS WHY THEY HAVE BEEN THROWN OUT OF EVERY NATION THEY HAVE INFESTED. WAKE UP. THESE PEOPLE ARE SICK INBRED SATANIC HOMOSEXUAL TRASH THAT NEEDS TO BE SLAUGHTERED.

Instead of arguing about this, people should recognize that we all agree that a solution needs to be found so people can be safe. I do think it unusual that the shooter’s mother owned so many guns. It points to anxiety disorder and paranoia on her part. So the problem with this shooter is most likely both genetic and environmental. It is important to look at the parents of the people who do things like this. Apparently a judge wanted both the mother and the father to take parenting classes. I believe the shooter was mentally weak(genetic) and not able to withstand his environmental upbringing. There’s just too many factors involved though for a perfect storm like this: access to guns, inadequate parenting?, physiological genetic mental instability w/o regard to ubringing, and a media that promotes sensationalistic killing of people when they bother you, rather than compromise or just simply getting away from people you do not like. That nut job in Arizona who killed that little girl and almost killed that senator also had nut job parents. I think biological parents should have to take tests to see if they are worthy to be parents just like adoptive parents have to do. A child might still be a nut job due to genetic issues, but the damage of their nut jobness will then be mitigated by sane and nurturing parents. Guns are part of the problem, but a nut job could just as easily ram a bunch of people with their car or make a home made bomb as these nut jobs usually tend to be pretty smart. At any rate, I think we all can agree that this whole thing is just too awful and incomprehensible to even contemplate. And its not just today. For those involved, the impact will last lifetimes and generations. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims, their friends and families.

it’s a hell of a lot easier to stop someone with a knife than with a gun…

  • Ida

Fuck you for demonizing Aspbergers and just making things up. There are NO reports stating that at all anywhere and the actions are inconsistent. I agree with the gun law statement but to make up facts? Fuck off

In light of what transpired, the term “personality disorder” seems too mild and fails to convey the seriousness of the malady, and belies it potential for such outrageous behaviors.

I have Aspergers Syndrome and I have been bullied all of my life for being different. Yet despite the emotional abuse I have suffered at the hands of others, I have NEVER, EVER done violence to anyone nor do I have any desire to. Whatever drove this vermin to do what he did, it was not because he had Aspergers Syndrome.
