John Kerry-Heinz has investments in companies accused of Violating Iran sanctions – media silent
You see? I told you John Kerry-Heinz is the PERFECT nominee for Obama’s Secretary of State! The old coots in the Senate love him (including Republicans), he’s was/is traitor to this country during Vietnam, he’s the richest member of Congress, and now apparently he also invests in companies that are accused of violating the so called ‘biting’ Iran sanctions. Yep. The perfect pick. The media thrilled with Kerry’s pick to replace pant-suits Clinton though seems to have amnesia about Kerry, and as usual hasn’t reported on this finding.
One of the companies Kerry is invested in is called Petroleo Brasileiro SA Petrobras (Petrobras), it’s a Brazilian-based oil and gas corporation. Disclosure forms reveal that Kerry has between $150,000 and 350,000 in assets in the company.
But a 2009 report from Congressional Research Services found that, since 1999, Petrobras has “major investments in Iran’s energy sector.”
The next year, in 2010, Congress lised Petrobras as a company possibly violating Iran sanctions.
