25 year old Eddie Ray Routh arrested – expected to be charged with murder of two, including Former Navy SEAL and bestselling author Chris Kyle

Former Navy SEAL Chris Kyle was also happened to be a bestselling author of the book “American Sniper: The Autobiography of the Most Lethal Sniper in U.S. Military History” was killed at the Rough Creek Lodge in Texas. The ‘man’ expected to be charged with two counts of murder is 25 year old Eddie Ray Routh. According to The Blaze, Chris Kyle was shot point blank by Eddie Ray Routh as Kyle was helping another soldier who was recovering from post traumatic stress syndrome. Quite the ‘man’ are you Eddie Routh. I’m glad Texas still has the death penalty. Chris Kyle is also famous for slugging that Minnesota loonybin Jesse Ventura in the face last year.

Here is pic of Eddie Ray Routh:

Reports indicated that Eddie Routh actually took off in Chris Kyle’s car and, according to KHOU, officials say the second victim may have been the Routh’s neighbor.

  • Helen

    • aldol11

be damned you and all your family forever

    • DanE

Your an Ignorant, Moronic piece of shit! Your citizenship should be stripped, then you & your loved ones shipped to live in Afghanistan without the protection of even 1 man who fought as he did!!!

    • SlyDeNiro

You should read the Kuran, Helen. They aren’t real keen on your kind.

“trying to help the PTSD veteran relieve stress by taking them shooting range”….REEALLY cause that prob which caused the PTSD? sense makes sense. gg.

    • Simmons

My name is Andrew Simmons. I was a Marine Sgt., and served in Iraq twice. I have my Purple Heart from wounds received by an IED in 2006. I have PTSD, and I own guns. Not only do my guns not cause me to trip out or anything like that, but I enjoy shooting them. Does that mean anyone with PTSD can do it? No. However, just because someone has PTSD doesn’t mean that they can’t enjoy shooting for sport. I have seen too many people post on this thread that have NO CLUE what they are talking about. The facts are few at this point in the game, but one fact is that Chris Kyle is a Hero. I urge everyone to please keep the political b.s. out. Semper Fidelis.

      • SlyDeNiro

As I read the reports it sounds like it wasn’t the PTSD Marine who did the shooting. Reports are still sketchy.

      • patriot1742

Mr.Simmons – with all due respect – I have never heard a Marine that I know refer to himself as I WAS a Marine – they say I am a Marine – inactive.

        • John Harrell

Patriot, we do sometimes say WAS a Marine, Just to keep from having to explain. That is especially true when writing instead of talking. We also dont call just any rifle or pistol a gun. Gun refers to a machinegun. However, to make it more understandable for the general public, we refer to rifles and pistols as guns. Nit-picky.

This one is obv … one marine brags his whole life about killing people and makes tons money from books and shows off ect. while other marine is jealous and thinks the arrogant one was not humble. this guy used to be called the devil, anyone ever wonder why he got that knickname? maybe Routh knows lil more than we do… plus gun range and PTSD.. cough

    • cheongyei

I wonder how you got your user name when there is no common sense in your unproven conspiracy theory.

LOL @ Chris Kyle slugging Jesse Ventura. IMHO that was a lie designed to discredit Jesse.

      Jesse is a fraud

      • Tommy

Jesse got the go ahead to proceed with this lawsuit against Kyle ‘s estate today. God job for Jesse defending his good name.

Shooting therapy… I wonder how many mental health professionals would recommend that for PTSD

    • DanE

Facing your fears, the sound of gunfire or loud banging sounds is an obvious trigger. For some confronting that in a safe enviroment helps to relieve that fear & disassociate it from traumatic events. It works in some obviously not in all, but atleast he was trying to help a fellow soldier in need instead of calling him crazy & ignoring it!

      • http://twitter.com/realgjohnson5 Tony Johnson

Obviously Chris should have left the mental health therapy up to the mental health professionals….

“Good for you Eddie!” (Helen)… “I hope he’s tortured” (Brent L)… You people are pathetic assholes. A Veteran was murdered, and you think that’s cool. Another Marine may have done it, suggesting that either the 2 had some kind of major grievance against each other or that he was mentally disturbed, and you hope he’s tortured. Your absolute disregard for human lives and caring for our veterans who answered their nation’s call and did something you’re too weak to do is offensive. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

    • griffinaz61

I am not to weak, I served 11 years. I don’t think that serving or having PTSD excuses a person from acting like a monster. You think because he was a Marine we should have compassion and forgiveness? If the killer wasn’t ex-military would it be okay to think of them as a monster then? How about if instead of killing another ex-military, what if instead they killed one of your loved ones. Would you still be offended if someone was mean to the killer or made a statement about him being tortured. Do you think the families of the victims are not tortured now due to the loss of their loved ones?

Anyway, the the other person killed was the killers neighbor also at the range. Sounds to me like the intended victim was not Chris but the other gentleman and Chris interfered with the killers plan. Wrong place, Wrong time. Which in my eyes makes him a monster.

      • vileagnostic

        @griff. You are an idiot.

  • Philip

Eddie Routh – Marine, troubled and scarred.
Chris Kyle – SEAL, trying to help. Chris Kyle was not a Marine he was a U.S. Navy SEAL. If nothing else at least keep that part straight.

    • SlyDeNiro

The Marines are a branch of the Navy. That’s why Kyle also had Marine medals.

      • patriot1742

The Marines are the oldest military branch – the Navy is another military branch.

    Death does not discriminate…

2 shots, 2 kills TAP TAP

  • Shattered

He could have stabbed him to death from behind. I’m a veteran and I would rather go out armed. Protect the 2nd amendment from the cultural marxists.

  • Peter

If you think he will get the death penalty then i have a bridge i want to sell you.

Death penalty is for 1st degree, this is obviously not pre-meditated but some sort of freak out with PTSD.
