Wow – Ron Paul on Chris Kyle’s death – ‘he who lives by the sword dies by the sword.’

ron-paul-nutjobThis really surprises me from Ron Paul. He follows the constitution, unlike 99.9% of current US politicians. But his statement about Chris Kyle’s death of ‘he who lives by the sword dies by the sword’ is as disgusting as it is surprising. Ron Paul isn’t some hippie liberal who’s never served his country in the military, Paul served as a flight surgeon in the United States Air Force from 1963 to 1965 and then in the United States Air National Guard from 1965 to 1968.

Treatment for PTSD varies for individuals. We are not all cut from the same mold. Gun ranges give vets a place where they have something in common and they are more relaxed and able to socialize at times. We need to respect our veterans. Chris Kyle saved many lives by doing the job our government assigned to him.

This is out of line, Chris was helping another disabled vet when shot. The person who shot him was probably denied mental health care from the VA. We can’t fix the problem until the VA, doctors, and hospitals recognize and treat mental health issues.

Congressmen, you are a disgrace. How dare you talk like this about a SEAL. You, who live because others risk their lives to protect you. What a POS you are, sir.
